OK, so these days the wedding industry has what are called the “shoot and burn” photographers. Basically, some brides are just looking for a photographer to shoot their wedding and give them a disc of the photos. And so that’s what many photographers, including myself, will do. Shoot the wedding, edit the images, and burn them to disc. Some brides get albums right away. Some brides wait. That’s just fine either way BUT when it comes down to actually getting an album what do you do? Do you try a company like Shutterfly, Snapfish, or MPIX? You can but if you want real professional albums then you have to go to a real professional. That’s where I come in. One thing I pride myself on is my albums and the price that I charge for them. I am roughly on average $300 - $700 cheaper than other photographers. You get the same exact album that your wedding photographer has and a custom design just at a cheaper rate. So if you want to get a REAL professional album and you have the rights to your photos then come to me and I’ll take care of the rest. You can view my price list for my albums here.

We won the 2010 Bride’s Choice Award on WeddingWire
For the second year in a row, I have won the Bride’s Choice Award on WeddingWire. The WeddingWire Bride’s Choice Awards recognizes the top local wedding professionals from the WeddingWire Network that demonstrate excellence in quality, service, responsiveness, and professionalism. Unlike other awards in which winners are selected by the organization, the Bride’s Choice Awards are determined by recent reviews and extensive surveys from over 500,000 newlyweds. This year’s winners represent the top five percent of WeddingWire’s vendor community, which consists of over 100,000 local wedding professionals nationwide. So Yay for me.
I won 2010 Best of The Knot!!
And the best part is I don’t even advertise on there. In fact, I don’t really advertise at all. Most of my business comes from referrals but it is really great to win something like this. I would like to thank anyone who wrote about me. I am really lucky to have such great and loyal brides and grooms. I really love you all.
Katt + Matt | The Downtown Club
Last night was a wonderful experience for me. I did the wedding of Katt and Matt and I have to say it was one of my favorite weddings to shoot. They got married in Arch Street Presbyterian which is a photographers dream. The winding staircase was ridiculous! Everything about the architecture was beautiful. After the ceremony I got to drive the bride and groom around to get some pictures. Then off to the reception at the elegant Downtown Club. I am so impressed with that place. It was truly remarkable and what I loved most were the staff. Greg and Mary were some of the nicest people I have met. They treated me and my assistant with respect. I’ve worked at many high end Philadelphia venues and the staff are a bunch of snobs. Not here. The Downtown Club is where it’s at! Music was provided by Schaffer Sound Disc Jockeys. Chris really rocked the reception. He was awesome. Oh. One final thing. The bride and groom hired Bryan Clark to sing during cocktail hour and dinner hour. He was the most amazing singer I have ever heard. If you need a classy singer for your cocktail hour check him out. He sings the standards from Sinatra, Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, etc. I have never heard anyone like him. He’s worth a call. Here is a small sample of some photos. Jacki + Ryan | Scotland Run
Last night was one for the record books. I worked with Team Awesome. Video provided by Jeff from Ashe Productions, non-stop dancing by Mark Nuzzo of Steve and Company, and amazing planning by Amy McGonigal of Picture Perfect Events. Amy was amazing to work with. Every detail was taken care of perfectly. If you are looking for a coordinator, Amy is awesome. You can’t go wrong. OK, about the wedding. It was perfect. Truly perfect. Jacki was one of the most beautiful brides I have ever had the pleasure of photographing and she was so care free. Not a stressful bone in her body and Ryan was such a cool guy. Anybody who can get his groomsmen to do snow angels in 20 degree weather is a winner in my book. Here is a small sample of some photos. For more join my fan page on facebook

Christina + Steve | Adventure Aquarium
I love working at the Adventure Aquarium. It is such a beautiful and unique looking facility. Last night’s wedding was a little different than the weddings I’ve done there. The ceremony actually took place in the Aquarium right in front of a huge tank. It is so remarkable and peaceful. I really loved it. Normally I work in the Currents Ballroom but this reception was held in the Rotunda directly below a huge mobile of fish. Christina and Steve were so easy to get along with and were so laid back (I guess being surrounded by fish tends to relax you anyway). I really loved being around these two. They were so great and I truly hope they remembered everything. It was definitely one to remember.
I have the best brides
I have the best brides in the world. I really do. I’m not sucking up. It’s the truth. I got home from work to find this wonderful thank you card from one of my incredible brides. Thanks Sheenah. You made my night. I get thank you cards all the time, which I normally keep private, but I couldn’t resist it putting it up.

Michelle + Tom | Scotland Run Golf Club
Last night I did the wedding of Michelle and Tom at the Scotland Run Golf Club. I had a great time with these two. It was freezing outside but they toughed it out to get some great shots. The wedding was so much fun. Tons of dancing provided by Center Stage Entertainment. I highly recommend them as DJ’s. They really know what they are doing. I also worked with one of my favorite videographers. Andrew from Stomping Bread Productions. He is always great to work with.
Osmara + Daniel | Engagement Session
I’ve been away for the past two weeks but today I got back into the swing of things with Osmara and Daniel. These two are a truly remarkable couple. I am dying to shoot their wedding in April. It is going to be so much fun. Both Osmara and Daniel have smiles that could light up a room and personalities that are so genuine and warm (and warmth was really needed today being 24 degrees). Here are just a few of my favorites.
Melissa + Matt | The Merion
What a great day I had with Melissa and Matt. The day went really smoothly and didn’t hit any roadbumps. A few snow drifts though. HAHA. Why do people put HAHA when they type something comical? Is it because they want the readers to know they typed something funny? Anyway, Melissa was such a joy and so much fun to be around and Matt was really awesome. Plus he had some killer dance moves. I had the pleasure of working at The Merion again. I love that place. Thanks so much Cliff for putting me on your most wanted list. HAHA. (Insert previous comment here).
